Mr. David Williams is Glendale Prep’s inaugural Head of School. Mr. Williams has completed all required coursework for a Doctorate in Philosophy from the University of Dallas. He holds three Masters Degrees, in Theological Studies, Liberal Arts, and History, from the John Paul II Pontifical Institute, St. John’sCollege, and the University of Notre Dame, respectively, as well as a B.A. in History from FairfieldUniversity in Connecticut. He has also pursued substantial summer studies in literature, history, political and economic systems at the Dallas Institute for Humanities and Culture, Oxford University, and Georgetown University.
His teaching experience includes tenures as an adjunct professor at the University of Dallas, and as a high school humanities teacher at UnionHigh School in New Jersey. His passion for the humanities is evident not only in his own education and professional development, but also in the initiative he has demonstrated in designing and founding interdisciplinary courses, Great Books discussion clubs, and Philosophy tutorials, thus furthering future generations appreciation for great thought. In recognition of his professional achievement, the New Jersey chapter of the National Endowment for the Humanities named Mr. Williams New Jersey Teacher of the Year, and the New Jersey Senate and General Assembly passed a joint legislative resolution acclaiming his excellence in teaching.
Stephen Gordon, Dean of Academics & Discipline

Steve Gordon, English and Humane Letters teacher, is coming to GlendalePreparatoryAcademy from the Latin School of Chicago, where he has been teaching high school English. Before moving to Chicago, Steve taught English at the high school level for three years at Ursuline Academy of Dallas and at the middle school level for another three years at St.MonicaSchool in Dallas. Steve’s background also includes teaching in the University of Dallas’ Shakespeare in Italy summer program and volunteering for a year with an inner-city mission in Philadelphia. He received both his Master’s and Bachelor’s degrees in English from the University of Dallas.

Jonathan Rickey, Athletic Director

Jonathan Rickey, Athletic Director, is coming to Glendale Prep from Imagine Schools at Rosefield. There he was a primary member of the inaugural staff and was awarded "Teacher of the Year" as voted by the staff and parents. He served Rosefield for several years in a teaching capacity instructing physical education and middle school social studies, and in a leadership position as the Asst. Principal. Jonathan also taught four years of middle school social studies at ACCLAIM charter school. He has coached a variety of sports over the past nine years including: JH boys basketball, HS girls basketball, HS softball, HS baseball and HS co-ed soccer. Jonathan received his Bachelor's degree from GeorgeFoxUniversity in Newberg, OR.
Dee-Dee Sanders, College Counselor

Dee-Dee Sanders came to Glendale Prep from Las Vegas, Nevada where she spent the last several years as an independent college admission consultant. It was during this time in private practice that she worked with students who gained acceptance to some of the nation’s most selective colleges and universities, including those that rank in the top five for National Universities and Liberal Arts Colleges. Mrs. Sanders is a member of the National Association of College Admission Counselors. She has volunteered to help with college admissions at the Nevada Partnership for Homeless Youth and has also been chosen to design the curriculum for educational and admission consulting for the Bo Jackson Foundation in Chicago, as well as asked to serve on the selection committee for the Posse Foundation. As a teacher, she taught English for 13 years both in private Catholic and district public high schools. In Chicago, she earned her BA in English and an MA in English Education and Curriculum. She is excited to have her four year old son, Nicholas, join the Great Hearts community next year in the Archway Classical Academy.

Kathy Lund, Office Manager, came to Glendale Preparatory Academy from Christ’s Church at the Crossroads, where she served as Assistant Children’s Director and from DPR Realty as a Realtor.Kathy Lund has over 16 years of experience in Office Management.She was a Station Manager for an Airline for more than 16 years.Kathy attended the University of Arkansas and Texas A & M University where she majored in Business.Kathy has one daughter currently in 8th grade at Glendale Preparatory Academy and another daughter who will attend next year.Kathy is excited to be a part of the Glendale Prep Family and looks forward to helping build the future of the Academy.
Dr. Thomas Neumayr, Assistant to the Leadership Team and Office Manager, came to Glendale Preparatory Academy from Austin, Texas. He has worked as a paralegal for Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati in Palo Alto, CA, and Austin, TX, for over a decade. Tom has recently earned a Doctorate in Political Philosophy from the University of Dallas. He also holds an M.A. in Politics from the University of Dallas and a B.A. in History and Political Science from the University of California at Davis. His teaching experience includes tenures as a teacher's assistant at UC Davis and as a Great Books and History teacher at Trinity Grammar and Prep in Napa, CA. Tom played professional basketball in Copenhagen, Denmark, and has coached basketball at the college and high school level for over 6 years. Tom's wife, Dr. Celia Neumayr, currently teaches at Scottsdale Preparatory Academy. Two of their three children, Jack and Tommy, attend Archway Scottsdale and they look forward to enrolling their third, Heidi, in a Great Hearts Archway. Tom is also excited to be a part of the GPA family and looks forward to helping build the future of the Academy.
